Privacy Policy

Actionary is a personal task-management app built and run by a single independent developer, not a company. This page explains what data the app collects, why, and where it's stored — in plain language, since that's how the app itself is built.

Account info: the email address and password you sign up with, and a display name if you set one. Passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we never see or store your password ourselves.

Push notifications: if you turn on due-date notifications, your browser generates a push subscription (an endpoint URL and keys) that we store so we can send you that notification. This is optional and off unless you enable it.

We don't run analytics, ad tracking, or any third-party tracking scripts on Actionary. We don't know what you do in the app beyond what's needed to make the app work.

Solely to run the app: authenticating you, syncing your tasks across your devices, and sending the due-date reminders you've asked for. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, and we don't use it to train any models.

Account data and app content are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, which also handles authentication. The app itself is hosted on Vercel. These are the only two infrastructure providers Actionary relies on.

Actionary sets one type of cookie: an httpOnly session cookie used to keep you logged in. It isn't used for tracking or advertising, and there are no third-party cookies on the site.

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and all associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it promptly.

All traffic to Actionary is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and managed by Supabase's authentication system — we never store them in plain text or handle them directly.

Actionary isn't directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children under 13.

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
